Founder of +backoffice

After a Degree in Management and a Master's in Finance, both from ISCTE, I have accumulated, over the last 12 years (of which 7 in the Big Four context) and as a tax consultant, experience in the areas of direct taxes, indirect taxes, stamp duty, social security and review/implementation of processes.

The last 5 years have been particularly rich in projects in terms of digitalization and process optimization, using technologies such as KNIME, Alteryx, Power Bi, Sharepoint, Power Automate, PowerApps, Excel, Access, among others.

Along the way I also became an entrepreneur in the agricultural sector as a sweet potato producer, founding the Sweet Potato Farms and Batata Doce do Oeste projects, and an entrepreneur in the food distribution/sustainability sector, founding the Horta Circular project.

Volunteering has also been part of my daily life for several years. I was treasurer of GDRC Casalinhense between January 2011 and December 2013 and in 2015 I was one of the founders of ADESP Casalinhos de Alfaiata, in which I also serve as treasurer.

But, in fact, my biggest and main project is, of course, day-to-day life, as a Father. In this role, the challenges and learning are constant and, I confess, I was not prepared for such a mountain. If +backoffice appeared today, it's because, over time, I realized and confirmed that, to be a truly present father and do my best in this "life project", I needed to develop another project that was "my style", which I believe in, which is based on values ​​and ethical principles, which complements me and makes me a better person and which impacts, in a very positive way, in all areas of my life.

+backoffice was born at the exact moment I realized that my life, to make sense to me, must revolve around my family, and the professional area is just one of the several areas that structure life.

With +backoffice I intend to CHANGE, UPDATE and/or CREATE processes that aim to increase efficiency, motivate teams, mitigate risks, save time and save money.

If +backoffice manages to improve the daily lives of some backofficers, the project has already been worth it.
